Infants
Our infant program is for children aged six weeks to one year. It is part of our Blue Program. Throughout the day children will play, go on walks around the Assumption campus, and interact with each other and their teachers. Parents will receive daily updates summarizing their child’s feeding, napping, and changing schedules.
Toddlers
Our toddlers program is for children between 1 and 1 ½ years old. It is part of both our Blue and Green Programs. Children will continue their emotional, social, physical, and mental development with designated times for music, art, sensory activities, snack, and storytelling. Children also go for walks and play on one of our two playgrounds. By the end of this program, children will have learned how to hold their own bottle and feed themselves, and they will have transitioned from two naps a day to one longer nap in the afternoon.
PK1
Our PK1 program is for children between 1 ½ and 2 years old. It is part of both our Blue and Green Programs. Many children transition into this program from the toddlers program and then into the PK2 program when they come of age. In PK1 children will continue to develop the skills they learned in the toddlers classroom. They will be able to communicate and interact with both their classmates and their teachers more autonomously. For this reason they must be able to walk independently and feed themselves before entering the PK1 program.
PK2
Our PK2 program is for children between the ages of 2 and 3. It is part of both our Blue and Green Programs. Each child must be two before or on September 1st of that year in order to enroll in the two years old program. There are two PK2 classrooms, one for younger aged two year olds and one for older aged two year olds. Children will be able to seamlessly transition between the two classrooms once they become of age. In this program, children will undergo periodic Ages and Stages assessments in order to ensure they are developing at the appropriate rate, and they will begin to be toilet trained.
PK3
Our PK3 program is for children between the ages of 3 and 4. It is part of our Green and Blue Programs. Each child must be three before or on September 1st of that year in order to enroll in the three years old program. There are two PK3 classrooms, and each child is required to wear a uniform. Children must also be fully toilet trained before entering the classroom. PK3 follows the Learn without Tears curriculum. They also have P.E., art, library, and music class at Assumption Catholic School. PK3 children will also have religion lessons from the Servant Sisters of the Home of the Mother.
PK4
Our PK4 program is for children between the ages of 4 and 5. It is part of our Green and Blue Programs. Each child must be four before or on September 1st of that year in order to enroll in the four years old program. Families may be eligible for the state funded VPK program. There are three PK4 classrooms, and each child is required to wear a uniform. PK4 follows the Happily Ever After curriculum. They also have P.E., art, library, computer, and music class at Assumption Catholic School. PK4 children will also have religion lessons from the Servant Sisters of the Home of the Mother.
